"I've been interested in food my entire life, always being involved in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother, who put me through my first round of culinary school. After studying photography and psychology at The University of Michigan, I returned to my love of cooking and attended National Culinary School, right here in San Diego. I have experience as a personal/private chef for small families and large parties, as well as working in catering kitchens and events. My love of food has allowed me to share fun and healthy ways of eating with friends and family, which led me to becoming my own personal chef. I took my knowledge from culinary school, lost 40 pounds, and lowered my fiancé’s cholesterol significantly, just by eating smart and healthy.
I've always enjoyed cooking special meals for the people around me. I feel that more people would eat healthy if they knew how good it really is! I look forward to cooking for you."
"As a chef I am dedicated to sharing my passion of food to everyone. I enjoy cooking comfort food that is healthy and tastes great. I am also happy to incorporate your families’ favorite dinner recipes into the menu. I strive to provide my clients with wholesome great tasting meals, using the freshest ingredients, to give a more structured and nutritious way of eating, allowing more free time to spend with family and friends."
"In addition to cooking I also enjoy hiking, skiing, body boarding, photography and traveling cross country. In fact every culinary picture on the site I photographed myself. One of my recent and most exciting accomplishments was this past summer, with my fiancé when we hiked Half Dome in Yosemite. I am looking forward to our wedding this coming Fall. I wish everyone a great 2008!"
