What is a Personal Chef?

From the comfort of your kitchen I will prepare a personalized in-home meal service. I will plan a customized menu for you based on your personal tastes, shop for groceries and come to your home to prepare meals in your kitchen, package dishes in the refrigerator and freezer, for your later enjoyment. Results from your client questionnaire will help me to tailor a menu to your likes and dislikes, as well as accommodating dietary restrictions and other specialty needs. I will work with every client to fit any size family and eating style. The meals can be packaged into individual containers for portion control, package meals family style, or use a combination of both ways, according to different menu items or your future dinner plans. How the Service Works

When you decide to try a meal service, fill out a client questionnaire online and contact me. I will have an email, phone or in-home consultation with you, to go over the client questionnaire, and customize your menu. An in-home consultation is best if I will be cooking at an empty house on the cook date, to exchange keys and information. A $100 grocery deposit is required as an estimated cost for groceries, to be paid by the cook date, which will be deducted from your final invoice.

I will email you a confirmation of the menu at least 3 days prior to the cooking day. Client approval of the menu and schedule will be a confirmation of service. On the day of cooking, I will shop for your ingredients, and go to your home kitchen to prepare the meals for storage. Payment will be expected, by cash or check, on the day of service for first time clients and within five days from service for contract clients. I often shop at several stores to find you the freshest ingredients to produce the best tasting dishes to enjoy.
